Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Monnara real estate platform collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its Implementing Regulations. By using the platform you agree to the practices described below. Last updated: 5 August 2026.
1Data controller
The controller of your data is Manara Al-Asriya Company (شركة منارا العصرية), operator of the “Monnara” platform (Fal licence no. I200001605; unified number 7028991292; a limited-liability company). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@monnara.co.
2Data we collect
- Identity and contact: your name and mobile number at registration and verification (OTP). - Listings and requests: details of properties you publish, search for, or enquire about. - ASKIB conversations: your chats with our AI assistant, to improve the service and matching. - Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, and usage data. - Location: your approximate location via the browser (with your permission) to show nearby properties. - Payment data: processed directly by an approved payment gateway; we do not store your card details.
3Purposes and legal basis
We process your data to: run and verify your account, match you with suitable properties, communicate about your requests, handle subscriptions and payments, improve and secure the platform, and comply with regulations. This relies on your consent, the performance of a contract you are party to, a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest that does not harm your rights.
4How we collect data
We collect data directly from you (registration, forms, chats), automatically as you use the platform (cookies and technical data), and occasionally from official sources to verify real-estate licences.
5Sharing data
We do not sell your data. We may share it, only as needed, with: - The other party to a deal (e.g. your mobile number) after your explicit consent to start contact about a specific property. - Trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, payments) under confidentiality agreements. - Government and regulatory bodies upon a lawful request (such as the Real Estate General Authority or the Saudi Data and AI Authority).
6Storage and cross-border transfer
Your data is hosted and processed inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is not transferred outside the Kingdom except as permitted by the Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations.
7Retention
We keep your data while your account is active or as long as needed to fulfil the processing purposes and legal obligations, then securely destroy or anonymise it.
8Data security
We apply technical and organisational controls to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive data, access controls, and access monitoring. Even so, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
9Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to run the platform (such as remembering your language and session), and others to analyse usage and improve the experience. You can control them from your browser settings.
10Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to: be informed how your data is processed; access it and obtain a copy in a clear format; correct or update it; request its destruction or delete your account; and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact info@monnara.co and we will respond within the statutory period.
11Children’s data
The platform is intended for those aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect minors’ data, and we delete it once we become aware of it.
12Updates, contact, and escalation
We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes via the platform or your registered mobile number. For any question: info@monnara.co. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
13Visitor location (country and city)
We use an IP database installed on our own server in Riyadh to estimate a visitor's country and city, for statistics only (for example: which cities people view our listings from). 🔴 We never store your IP address — it is read at request time, turned into a country and city name, and discarded. Your address is not sent to any third party, because the database runs inside our server and the data does not leave it. The estimate is approximate by nature: mobile connections usually show the carrier's gateway city rather than yours.
