The Fal Licence and Real Estate Brokerage: What You Need to Know
Monnara team · 3 min read
"Fal" is the Real Estate General Authority's platform for regulating real estate brokerage and marketing. Any individual or establishment practicing real estate brokerage or marketing must hold a valid Fal licence.
For individuals: the Fal licence is issued to the practitioner after meeting the regulatory requirements. For establishments (offices and companies): the licence is issued to the establishment along with its statutory details (the commercial register and unified national number).
At Monnara, we require the Fal licence when registering an account as a broker (individual or company) and verify it before activation — so every advertiser on the platform is legally documented. This raises seekers' trust and protects the market from unlicensed practices.
Issuing and verifying a Fal licence are both done through the Real Estate General Authority's platform.
